Obituary

Robert H. Flores passed away on May 1, 2022 in Whittier, California at the age of 82. He was better known by everyone who loved him as "Bob." He was born on January 14, 1940 in Los Angeles, California and was a longtime resident of Whittier, California. After graduating from high school, Bob proudly began serving his country in the United States Army in 1961 and was honorably discharged in 1964. He also was a proud reserve police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for a few years.
Bob was an avid softball player but what he loved most was building and flying model airplanes. Bob is survived by his children Stephanie Mendoza, Sonja Flores, Marcus Flores and five grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at White Emerson Mortuary with a service starting at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at Rose Hills Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
