Rosemary Valadez

Rosemary Valadez was born June 6, 1926 in Los Angeles, California to Antonio and Mary Hernandez. She passed away August 22, 2010 in West Covina, California.Rosie grew up and started school in Tehachepi, California. She later came back to Los Angeles where she graduated.Rosemary married Alfredo C. Valadez on September 29, 1951 in Willowbrook, California. Together they raised four children. They made their home in Huntington Park, CA and later moved to Hacienda Heights, CA. Rosie loved her family deeply. She made life full of joy and laughter. She also loved to dance, sing and travel. She attended St. Matthias and Good Shepherd Family Bible Church both in Whittier.Mrs. Valadez is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Valadez and Victoria Flores; two sons, Alfred and Robert Valadez; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.Viewing will take place Thursday, August 26, 2010 from 4-9 pm at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601. A Funeral Service will follow the next day at 9:30 am on Friday, August 27th at Good Shepherd Family Bible Church, 6712 Washington Avenue, Whittier, CA 90601.Burial will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr., Montebello, 90640.
