Zacarias Abraham Vicente
February 24, 1939 – August 27, 2025
It is with a heavy yet celebratory heart that we announce the passing of Zacarias Abraham Vicente, who left this world peacefully on August 27, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Peru, Zacarias led a life rich in love, passion, and vibrant connections, making his home in Palmdale, California. Zacarias was a dedicated professional who made his mark in the banking industry as a data entry specialist at Bank of America. Though he was known for his work ethic, he always made time for his true passions. A loyal fan of soccer, he proudly supported the Sport Boys Association and loved discussing the intricacies of the game. He cherished moments spent with his family, especially with his beloved son Lizandro Vicente, daughter Rosa Gonzales, and son Julio Vicente, who will forever hold his memory dear. Zacarias celebrated the joys of life through his love of music, particularly enjoying the sounds of música criolla and the boleros of La Sonora Matancera, Toña la Negra, Romulo Varillas, and Daniel Santos. His vibrant spirit came alive on the dance floor as he sang along to his favorite tunes, always bringing joy to those around him. He could often be found savoring delicious ceviche and sharing a Pilsen beer with friends and family, including his cherished abuelito Fabian and tio Oswaldo. A lover of comic books and card games, Zacarias found joy in simple pleasures, often sharing laughter and stories with his best friend, Orlando Mendoza del Callao. He created lasting memories at the billiard hall, engaging in friendly competition while celebrating the warmth of camaraderie. As we gather to honor his remarkable life, we invite friends and family to join us for a Celebration of Life at the White Emerson Mortuary Pavilion on September 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at the White Emerson Chapel at 6:00 PM. A Public Viewing will take place at the same location from 5:00 PM, with a Private Viewing beforehand at 4:00 PM. Zacarias will be laid to rest through cremation following the services. In remembering Zacarias Abraham Vicente, let us celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and the beautiful memories he created with all of us. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.Zacarias was preceded in death by: Abraham Vicente, Juana Vicente
