Yvonne Krnjaic

Yvonne Krnjaic, 81, of Bullhead City, AZ, passed away on September 11, 2025, at the Legacy Care Center. Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on May 21, 1944, Yvonne spent her time enjoying the company of her friends and family, attending dances, hosting parties, and playing cards. In her younger years, she pulled quite a few pranks in the company of her cousins, and as she grew older, she was known for her keen fashion sense and for sewing her original designs.

Yvonne immigrated to the United States and settled in Los Angeles with her older sister Ruth. There she met her husband, Sava, and had two children, Dmitar and Natalie. A devoted mother and homemaker, Yvonne made every day special for her family by cracking jokes and singing songs. She made lifelong friends in the Sri Lankan community and with her coworkers as a Sales Associate for Nordstrom and Sears.

As a breast cancer survivor, Yvonne showed her strength and resilience, always keeping a positive attitude in any circumstance. In her retirement, she and Sava enjoyed trips to the casino for video poker and watching classic television and films at home.

Yvonne will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, sense of humor, and for always putting her friends and family first.

A memorial service will take place at the Old Saint Sava Chapel at the Serbian United Benevolent Society Cemetery on Friday, September 26, at 11:00 am.  Burial will take place immediately after the service at the Serbian United Benevolent Society Cemetery.
