It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Glen Warrington, who left us on August 21, 2025, just a week shy of his 91st birthday. Born on August 28, 1934, in Marshalltown, Iowa, William lived a life full of adventure and dedication. A proud Army veteran, he served his country before embarking on an impressive 35-year journey as a truck driver. William's story is a testament to hard work and commitment; he often shared tales from the road, always adding a touch of humor. He met the love of his life, Ida, when making deliveries to her place of business, and from that moment on, they became inseparable. Together, they shared countless joyful memories, from cross country road trips to cozy movie outings, always enjoying each other’s company. William is survived by his beloved wife, Ida Warrington and son Bille Warrington, who will carry his memory with them always. Family and friends are invited to celebrate William's life at a graveside service at Olive Lawn Memorial Park on September 8, 2025, at 1:30 PM. Join us as we honor the man who meant so much to so many and as we share stories and laughter in his memory. He will be dearly missed.
