Walter Warren passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. He was 79 years old.

Walter was a devoted father, respected attorney, and proud Vietnam veteran. His life was defined by integrity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to service. Whether serving his country, advocating through his profession, or guiding his family, Walter lived with purpose, principle, and quiet strength.

He is survived by his daughters, Shauna Steele and Shaundra Warren; his grandchildren Dijon, Stevanie, Andra, Makayla, Tori, Marshawn, Megan, Jeremy Jr., and Cassidy; and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sons-in-law, Avery Steele and Eddy Talley; his brother, Randy Roberson; Randy’s wife, Louella Roberson; and Randy’s sons, John Anthony, Jonathan Roberson, Earl Roberson, and Taran Roberson.

Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Roselyn Warren; the mother of his children, Carolyn Warren; his only son, Andre La Juan Warren; his sister, Pearl Mea; and his parents.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia Street, Whittier, California. A reception will follow at the DoubleTree Hotel Whittier, 7320 Greenleaf Avenue, Whittier, California. Burial services will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. at Arlington National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
