Teresita Cacnio Tuason was born on March 14, 1946, in the Philippines to her parents, Florentino Cacnio Sr. and Laureana Cacnio. She grew up in the city of Malabon with her parents and her five siblings. At the age of twenty-three on December 27, 1969, Teresita was married to Rodolfo Tuason at the church of the Immaculate Conception. Teresita was a homemaker, caring for her children, husband and eventually her three grandchildren! In 1992, Teresita moved to California and continued to look after her family--taking deep joy in celebrating and spending time with them. She took pride with her cooking, was fascinated with the Tagalog soap-operas, and loved singing along with old Filipino songs. She was a faithful member of Baldwin Park Community Bible Church during her time in California. Teresita passed on February 5, 2023, in Covina, California. She was preceded in passing by her oldest brother, Rodelio. She is survived by her beloved husband, Rodolfo and her four of her siblings, Danilo, Yolanda, Reynaldo, and Florentino (Onio). Her two daughters, Gladys Tuason Cruz, and son in law, Sherwin William Cruz, and daughter Ivy Tuason, and her three grandchildren, Rondolph William Cruz, Theresa Lorraine Cruz, and Luis Angelo Cruz. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed.
