Teresa Ramirez

Teresa, known to family and friends as Tere, Teresita, Dona Tere, to her children as Madre, Medrecita, Ama, Mom and as Abuelita, Welita, Bolita and Tita to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. No matter what she went by everyone can agree she was an amazing woman. She always had a kind word for anyone she met, making people feel like family.

A talented and meticulous seamstress, she was always offering to fix a hem or a stitch. Her chilaquiles were legendary. Not only were they delicious, but it also meant spending time with her at the dinner table, listening to stories of her beloved Colima.

Teresa Ramirez came to the United States in search of a better life for her children and herself. She was a hard and dedicated worker, a quality she instilled in her children. But no matter what obstacles or hardships she faced she always held onto her faith and pushed forward, strong, and resilient.

These are just a few of the millions of reasons she will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The matriarch of her family, she was survived by her children and their spouses: Maricela Magallon, Sonia and Loreto Jaime, Osiris Magallon, Luis and Patricia Magallon, Carlos and Martha Magallon, Aracely and Jose de Jesus Garcia, Norma and Moises Villasenor, Gustavo and Elizabeth Magallon, Richard Magallon, 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Teresa Ramirez, fallecio en paz el 29 de Agosto 2023, a la edad de 96 anos. Nacida el 23, de Enero 1927 en Colima, Mexico. Sus padres Eusebio y Felipa Ramirez.

Teresa conocida por sus familiares y amistades como Tere, Dona Tere, Teresita, y a sus hijos como Madre, Madrecita, Mom, Ama, y a sus nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos como, Abuelita, Welita, Bolita y Tita. No importa como la nombren todos estan de acuerdo que era una gran mujer. Ella siempre le demostraba carino a todos que la conocian, haciendolos sentir como parte de la familia.

Una costurera talentosa y detallista, ella siempre ofrecia arreglar cualquier bastilla. Y sus chilaquiles eran legendarios. No solamente eran deliciosos, pero tambien significaba pasar tiempo con ella escuchando sus anecdotas y historias de su querido Colima.

Teresa Ramirez llego a los Estados Unidos en busqueda de un mejor futuro para sus hijos y ella. Siempre trabajadora y dedicada, fue algo que les inculco a sus hijos. No importaba los obstaculos que se le presentaban, con su fe y fortaleza salio adelante. Por esta y muchas razones mas, se le va extranar y jamas olvidar
