Steven Lawrence Brause

Steven Lawrence Brause, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 5, 2023. He was born on June 15, 1947, in Corcoran, CA. Steven's parents, James Buckley Brause and Mary Angela Lawrence, raised him with love and care.

From an early age, it was evident that Steven had a special talent for sales. He pursued his passion and excelled as the Top Forklift Seller at Caterpillar. His dedication and hard work earned him numerous accolades throughout his career. Steven's proudest accomplishment was being recognized as the Top Seller for multiple years at such a reputable company.

Outside of his professional life, Steven was known for his generosity and thoughtfulness. He had a kind heart and was always willing to go above and beyond for others. Those who knew him could always rely on his support and were touched by his acts of kindness.

Steven's commitment to service extended beyond his role as a salesperson. He proudly served in the military and was awarded three Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice. His dedication to protecting his country will always be remembered with gratitude.

In addition to his successful career and military service, Steven valued education greatly. While he only had a college education, he understood the importance of continuous learning and encouraged others around him to pursue their educational goals.

Dr. Joanne Brause was the love of Steven's life. Their bond was unbreakable, built on love, trust, and mutual respect. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love and cherished memories.

As a father to Kristopher, Steven shared countless precious moments filled with joy, laughter, and valuable life lessons. He took great pride in watching Kristopher grow into an accomplished individual.

Steven also leaves behind Karen, his beloved sister. They shared a strong sibling bond throughout their lives that brought them both immense joy.

Steven's loving presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He always made a difference.

Services to honor Steven's life will be held on December 27, 2023, at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada, CA. The graveside service will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Steven are invited to come together to celebrate his life and share their fondest memories.
