Stella Hugues

Stella Hugues was born in Los Angeles, CA. on December 28,1930,to Jose Carmen Serna and Francisca Miranda. She passed away at the age of 92, April 12, 2023 in Pico Rivera, CA.

Stella was raised in East Los Angeles, where she attended school and graduated from Garfield High School.

Stella married Joe (Joseph) Hugues in Los Angeles, CA in 1950.

She is survived by Nancy (Richard), Richard (Debbie), Paul,. Eddie, (Sally), (Henry); 
14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren, and one sister, (Josie)

Stella lived in Pico Rivera for 72 years where she raised six children and two grandchildren.

In Stella's younger days she liked knitting and sewing. As she grew older she enjoyed spending time with her family, eating out, and shopping with her daughter Nancy.

Stella was a devoted Catholic who attended St. Francis Xavier in Pico Rivera with her sister Vera on a regular basis until the pandemic when she started watching Mass on TV regularly.

Stella was love by all and will be greatly missed!
