Shirley LaRue

Shirley Ann Jeffreys LaRue June 13, 1939 ~ December 20, 2025

Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and treasured friend. She now rejoices in the arms of her Savior.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Tom LaRue, with whom she shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Cherie LaRue; her grandchildren, Rachel Winfrey and Joshua Winfrey; and her brothers, Don Jeffreys and John Jeffreys.

Born in Oklahoma City, OK, Shirley was a longtime resident and business owner in Whittier, CA. She, her husband Tom, and her brother John Jeffreys dedicated more than four decades to owning and operating LaRue’s Floor Covering.

Shirley’s life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and friendship. She was a faithful follower of Jesus, and her life was a source of inspiration to those around her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Morningstar Christian Chapel in Whittier, CA.

Shirley touched countless hearts, and her spirit will be deeply missed by all.
