Roy S. Anderson

Roy Sven Anderson passed away in Hesperia, California on April 22, 2019 at the age of 88. He was born on July 22, 1930 in Boston, Massachusetts to John and Margaret Anderson and later moved to California at the age of 16. Roy attended Long Beach Poly High School and would eventually go on to serve in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. While living in Long Beach, California Roy served as a facilities planning coordinator for the Los Angeles County Health Department helping to bring forth new hospitals and medical facilities to improve the community. Roy loved to bowl, dance, travel on cruises and was a proud member of the Elks Lodge for over 50 years. Roy is survived by his wife, Dolores, children; Tom Anderson, Kerry (John) Powell, Joe Anderson, Michael Anderson, stepchildren; Rosemary Camacho, Vivian Pelagio, Barbara Rivet, and 8 grandchildren.
