Raymond Alva

Raymond "Ray" Alva passed away at the age of 86 on Monday May 15th, 2023 in his Whittier home. He was born August 12, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Antonio and Candida Ramirez Alva.
Ray attended Garfield High school. After high school he met his future wife Mary Louise and they were married on June 13, 1959. They had 63 years of marriage.
Ray was a barber and did this for 53 years in the city of Whittier, CA. On his free time he loved to care for his dear wife and children.
Together they had 4 children; Raydina Swan, Andrew Alva, Jeanine Alvarado, and Daniel Alva.
Ray was a man of faith and would attend First Fundamental Bible Church.
Ray is survived by his Wife Mary Alva, 4 children, his brother, Albert Alva, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren
