Phyllis Ilene Tison

Phyllis Ilene Tison was born April 30, 1928 in Riverton, Nebraska to Shobie and Marie (Pichler) Davis. She passed away suddenly on Friday, November 5, 2010. As a young girl, Phyllis moved to Whittier with her family. She graduated from Montebello High School and married her high school sweetheart, George Tison, in 1949. Mrs. Tison was a long time volunteer at Whittier Hospital, a member of Pico Rivera Women's Golf Club and Whittier's Newcomers.She is survived by her two children, David (Patty) Tison and Kathy (Brian) Gowdy; and two grandsons, Kevin and Chris Gowdy. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 12, 2010, 11am at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E Philadelphia Street, Whittier.
