Pete John Popoff

Pete John Popoff was born November 20, 1919 in Phoenix, Arizona. He passed away February 10, 2011 in Lakewood, California.Pete grew up in Los Angeles and traveled up & down California with his family picking potatoes and other fruits and vegetables as a child. On September 12, 1948 he married Dorothy Nazaroff. They moved to Bellflower then later Montebello. The last 9 years he was living with his son in Lakewood.Pete is survived by Daughter; Helen Morozov, Son; Paul Popoff and wife Sandy, Grandchildren: James Morozov & Wife Elena, Steven Morozov, Jennifer Federoff & Husband Daniel, Greatgrandchildren; Sasha Morozov & Jonathan Federoff.Immediate family gathering will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at White Emerson Mortuary in Whittier with the Dressing Prayer beginning at 3:00pm. Viewing will begin at 4:00pm on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Big Church in Whittier. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Russian Molokan Cemetery in Commerce directly from Big Church in Whittier.
