He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Tavarez; son, Marno A. Tavarez; daughters, Rosemarie Uballez and Rachel Tavarez.
A service will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 10:45am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22494 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California, 92518.
