Miguel (Mike) Gutierrez-Avila was born on May 8, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, to Pedro and Felicitas (Gutierrez) Avila. He passed away on May 21, 2015, in Bell Gardens, California, at the age of 83.

A public visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2014, 10am-12noon, at White Emerson Mortuary. A Catholic Prayer Service will follow at 12noon.

Interment will take place following the service at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
