Maria Norma Macias

Maria Norma Macias, "Marie," was born on a warm October 18th in 1984 to Alvaro and Maria Macias in Coeneo, Michoacan, Mexico. At the age of twelve, Maria moved to La Habra, attending Sonora High School. She graduated in 2002. A year after graduation, Maria entered the Air Force and faithfully served her country until 2008. She was honorably discharged as an E-4 senior airman. She was stationed at the Tinker Air Force Base just outside of Oklahoma City. Through her time in the Air Force, Maria grew a heart for her fellow soldiers, spending time supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. She was a devoted Christian, a dog lover, and an artist, enjoying drawing, painting writing and music. Maria is survived by her four children, Jasmine, Johnny, Steven, and Danny; her parents, Alvaro, and Maria; and two brothers, Jabier and David.
