Maria Caridad Garcia, 89, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, in Downey, California. Viewing will take place from 5-7pm on Friday, September 29, 2017, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601, with a vigil service immediately following at 7pm. Mass will be celebrated at 9:15am the following morning, Saturday, September 30, 2017, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7215 Penn St., Whittier, CA 90602. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead, California.
