Margaret Ruth Jessup

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret Ruth Jessup, who left this world on August 9, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on April 2, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, Margaret spent her life embodying a spirit of adventure, warmth, and commitment to family and friends.
Margaret took great pride in running her family's business, Plainsite Business Systems, which she inherited from her father. She devoted herself to the company until her retirement, during which time she embraced life fully, sharing her love for the great outdoors with exhilarating rock-crawling adventures in her beloved 4x4 Jeep. With an insatiable curiosity for the world, she traveled to beautiful destinations including Ireland, Africa, and Asia, enriching her life with diverse experiences and friendships. Margaret was survived by sister Roberta Jessup and Frances Cross, and her brother-in-law, Ray Cross. She held dear to her heart the bond she created with lifelong friends from childhood, including Sona Ericson, as well as school friend Brian Reed. Additionally, she found a loyal companion in Jean Harwood, who worked alongside Margaret at Plainsite Business Systems for 21 years, providing unwavering support and care. Margaret will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her unwavering loyalty to those she loved, and her passion for life. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the adventures she shared. Margaret Ruth Jessup will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Jessup and Louise Jessup Larsen. Margaret will be interred at Loma Vista Memorial Park, with a graveside service scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11 a.m.
