Juanita "Jennie" Jauregui, a beloved homemaker and dedicated employee of Broadway Department Store and Jon Donaire Bakery, passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 83 in Hacienda Heights, California. Born on August 31, 1940, in Los Angeles, she was known for her caring nature, unwavering love for her family, and her warm presence that touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Jennie's life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion. She thrived in her role as a homemaker, creating a loving and nurturing environment for her husband John Jauregui and their four children - Eric, John, Philip, and Christian. She poured her heart into the well-being of her family and embraced each milestone with joy and enthusiasm. In addition to being a devoted mother and wife, Jennie had an incredible work ethic. Later in her career, she graced Jon Donaire Bakery with her hard work and kind spirit.

Jennie's faith was an indispensable part of her life journey. She received her education at St. Alphonsus School, where she discovered her love for learning and grew her spiritual roots. Later, she attended Sacred Heart of Mary High School, where she forged friendships that would last a lifetime.

Jennie's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy lives on through her husband John, their children Eric, John, Philip, and Christian, and her sister Corky Ortiz. Additionally, Jennie was blessed with 12 adoring grandchildren who were a constant source of joy in her life.

To honor Jennie's memory and celebrate her remarkable life, viewing services will be held at White Emerson Mortuary in Whittier, California, on October 5, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Further events will take place on October 6th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Hacienda Heights. An intimate gathering will be held at the church from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM for the Rosary, the start of the Mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
