Jose Angel Torres

Jose Angel Torres, lovingly known to all as Lito, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 27, 1961, in Santa Ana, El Salvador, and later made his home in Bell Gardens, California, where he later built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and service.

Lito was a devoted husband, a proud father, a joyful grandfather, and a faithful youth minister who dedicated his life to sharing God’s love and guiding others in their walk of faith. His compassion, warmth, and unwavering spirit touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marbella Torres; his children, Ely Torres, Josue Torres, Zulema Torres, and Luis Torres; and his cherished grandchildren, Leyah Morales, Andrew Jacob Torres, Devin Morales, Zaira Torres, Xiomara Torres, Dominic Torres, and Mia Torres. Each of them carries a piece of his heart and the values he lived by—faith, love, and perseverance. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory remains a source of strength and comfort to all who were blessed to know him.
