Jose Guadalupe Tapia, also known as Lupe, was born to his parents being Aurora Picon who was a devoted house wife and Bruno Tapia who was a shoemaker, on October 1st, 1936, in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was the oldest of eight siblings, Alejandro, Pachito, Chemo, Maria Ester, Alfredo and Juan. He was married to Maria Luisa Tapia for 63 wonderful blessed years together and have eight kids and 13 grandchildren. He was a sewing machinist for a company name "Felipe" for 20 years till the company closed down and moved out of state. He was a sports fan who loved boxing and soccer.
Jose Guadalupe Tapia is survived by his wife Maria and there eight children,oldest to youngest, Chuy, Lourdes, Juana, Geraldo, Ceci, Lucy, Sandra and Ruth.
After retirement, Jose Guadalupe was able to travel back and forth from Norwalk to Las Vegas. His wish came true and was able to travel to New Jersey and beautiful New York to celebrate his 83rd birthday where he was able to walk side by side with his wife Maria in Central Park
Jose Guadalupe lived a long, happy and blessed life He died peacefully in his home with his family by his side who were with him every day.
