John Richard Siemens Jr

John Richard Siemens Jr, a devoted individual who spent many years in Africa and the United States doing full-time ministry alongside his beloved wife and family, passed away on August 18th, 2023. He was born on April 6th, 1935, in Hastings, Minnesota, to John Siemens Sr and Gladys (Ostrom).

Rich's  lifelong commitment to spreading Christ's love, compassion, and salvation through his ministry was truly gratifying. He had a deep sense of purpose and unwavering dedication. It allowed him to impact the lives of many individuals in God given Ministries. Rich's work was not merely a profession but a calling that he wholeheartedly embraced. His ultimate goal was a life committed to Christ to bring glory to our Lord and Savior.

Educated with a Masters in Theology, John's knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith lead to strong and deep conviction of the truth of God's Word. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many through his many projects, leadership and gift of teaching. His ability to connect with others on a spiritual level was comforting  to those in need and in guiding them towards  the true hope found in knowing Christ.  

Beyond his professional achievements, Rich valued the sanctity of family deeply. He shared his life with his beloved wife Gracie (Megert) for almost 65 years. Their unwavering love and support provided the foundation for their family's endeavors. Together they nurtured their one son and two daughters  who will forever cherish the memories of their father's selflessness and unconditional love. Rich's grandkids saw and found a source of inspiration within him that will hopefully  continue to guide each of them throughout their lives.

John Richard Siemens Jr's life will be celebrated through two services held at Redemption Hill Church in Whittier, California. On September 16th, a Memorial Service will take place from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Following the service at 4:00 PM, there will be a reception for those in attendance. Both events will be held at 16153 Russell St, Whittier, CA 90603, United States.

In the wake of Rich's  passing,  His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him, as they  endeavor to carry on his legacy by embodying the values that Christ taught, His Truth, His love and His kindness.

As we bid farewell to John Richard Siemens Jr, let us remember the extraordinary life God allowed him to lead  and find hope in knowing that his work continues to resonate in the lives he touched. His soul now rests in eternal glory with Jesus our Lord.
