Jesse R. Salazar

Jesse R. Salazar was born April 16, 1946 in Los Angeles, California to Joseph and Tommie (Jimenez) Salazar. He passed on May 1, 2011 in Baldwin Park, California.Jesse grew up and attended schools in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Salesian High School and attended East Los Angeles College.On May 7, 1966 he married Marina Martinez.Jesse lived in the Los Angeles County his entire life and worked in the retail grocery business.His greatest interest was spending time with his family and friends. In addition, he enjoyed sports, movies, and working with his hands. His abilities included fixing things around the house and woodworking. He enjoyed music, traveling and poety.Mr. Salazar is survived by his wife, Marina;daughters Lisa Lugar and Cristina Toyama; parents, Joseph Salazar and Tommie Jimenez; siblings; Joe, Tom, Mary and John, along with 5 grandchildren, ages 5-19.
