Kerker, Jane Weeks, beloved by her family and friends died peacefully on August 30, 2010 one day before her 97th birthday. She is predeceased by her husband of some 60 years, Bud Kerker. She is survived by her niece, Judy Foster and Nephew, Douglas Irwin, both of New York and two great nieces, Janna Foster Mugnola and Susan Foster Wilkins and her great, great niece Madison Lauren Mugnola and great, great nephew Robert Frank Mugnola to all of whom she was 'Auntie Jane.'Jane lived in Whittier, California for some 87 years having been born in Richmond, Indiana. Her mother was Zetta 'Ted' Weeks and her father Ray Weeks and sister, Marian Weeks Irwin. She attended Whittier Union High School. She was always active in her community and a long time member of the First Friends church in Whittier. She worked at Myers Department Store in Whittier and also at the Whittier Public Library where she assisted in the development and research for The Richard Nixon Library.Services will be held at the First Friends Church in Whittieron Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 1 p.m.Interment will be at Rose Hills Memorial ParkYou may make donations to the First Friends Church in her memory.
