James Alan Murdock

James Murdock, 77, of Whittier, California, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, just one day shy of his 78th birthday. He was born on April 9, 1948.
James was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nancy, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family. He was a proud father to Brandon (46) and Ashley (43), and an even prouder grandfather, lovingly known as “Pappy” to his grandchildren, Mackenzie (21) and Hunter (14), who were truly his pride and joy. He will be remembered for his kind heart, steady presence, and the way he always put his family first. Whether sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply being there, James created lasting memories that his loved ones will carry with them forever. James is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his children, Brandon and Ashley; and his cherished grandchildren, Mackenzie and Hunter. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His life was a testament to the importance of family, love, and dedication, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
