Ismael Penalver Jr was born to Ismael Penalver SR. and Consuelo Penalver on Saturday in the City of Los Angeles, CA. on January 5th 1952.

Ismael was known as "Beany" to his family and friends. He grew up in the city of Lincoln Heights and attended Lincoln High School. After high school he resided to El Monte for many years and then settled in the city of Hacienda Heights.
Beany loved music and liked to play the guitar. Over the years he collected many records which he was very proud of. He loved nature and enjoyed fishing. He had an appreciation for antiques and interesting Artifacts. He was also a huge Dodger fan, but above all else, he loved his grandchildren and family.

Beany, married the love of his life, Norma Villalba on Saturday, April 15, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada and was happily married until Norma's untimely death in 1995. Beany never remarried.

He is Survived by his two daughters; Gloria Penalver and Alicia Penalver, siblings, eight grand children: Gabriel Penalver, Manuel Soto, Andrew Penalver, Alyssa Hernandez, Nasayah Soto, Sophiah Hernandez, Victoria Larios, Lillian Larios, along with his extended family and friends.

After a brave battle with cancer, Beany entered into rest peacefully on May 29th, 2022. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren, who he loved more than anything else in the world.
