Helen Freeman Escamilla

Helen Escamilla passed away in her home on Friday, October 28, 2022.
Helen, born to Narciso and Aurora Freeman on Thursday November 30th, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas.
Growing up, Helen attended Harris High School in San Antonio Texas

In 1993 Helen married her best friend Jesse Escamilla in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After 20 years working for Stater Brothers grocery store, Helen retired and got to enjoy her retirement with Jesse. Helen liked to spend her time bowling with her friends, Las Vegas so she can try her luck at Video Poker, and trips to the mountains and beaches.

Helen is survived by her husband Jesse Escamilla, siblings, Aurora Freeman and Albert Freeman, Sons, Louis Hernandez, Glen Hernandez and Vince Hernandez, Grandchildren, Vince Hernandez, Jarret, AJ Hernandez, and Nieces.

Helen will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held at White Emerson Mortuary Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 1:00pm
