It is with both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Georgia Anne Vause, who departed this world peacefully due to natural causes on March 5, 2026, at her home in La Mirada, California. Born on November 21, 1944, in Long Beach, California, Georgia was a beacon of kindness and joy to all who knew her. A proud graduate of El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, Georgia dedicated her career to serving others as a Claims Specialist at the Social Security Administration. Her unwavering commitment and compassion for her work made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals, and her legacy will be felt for years to come.
Georgia is survived by her beloved daughter Shannon Lipham; sons William Siwek and John Siwek; grandchildren Alexis, Will, Jordan, Katelyn, and Jenna; great-granddaughter Reagan; and sisters Therese Medeiros and Tonya Dhuyvetter. They will carry forward her spirit and love, and their bond remains a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to honor Georgia’s life and legacy at a Memorial Service to be held at White Emerson Chapel on April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow at the White Emerson Mortuary Pavilion from 12:30–3:30 PM. We encourage all who knew and loved Georgia to join us in celebrating her life and the cherished memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Georgia's name to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. Let us come together to celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and compassion. Georgia was preceded in death by Tauni Siwek, John Vause Jr., Henry Pontes, and Mary Reid.
