Gail Elizabeth Pippo-Heins

October 5, 1957 — September 14, 2023

September 14, 2023, Gail Elizabeth Pippo-Heins, passed away at home with her beloved children and husband at her side. Gail’s fearlessness, bravery, and devotion to her family never wavered in her thirteen-year battle with cancer.

Gail was born on October 5, 1957, in Manhattan, New York. Gail will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband and partner of thirty-seven years, Robert Heins. Gail was a loving and nurturing mother who created a beautiful life for her four children Michelle, Patsy, James, and Alexandria.

Gail is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Michelle, James, and Alexandria; and her siblings, Robert, Hope, William, Edward, Josephine, George, and Desmond. Gail was predeceased by her eldest son, Patsy; and her two sisters, Mary Joan and Madeleine.

Gail was a selfless provider, always willing to sacrifice for her family. She was true to her morals. Gail’s compassion and her commitment to honesty and loyalty were unparalleled. Gail dedicated years of service to Bonnie Briar Country Club in Larchmont, New York, Bedford Golf and Tennis Club in Bedford, New York, and Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier, California.

Gail was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. She never allowed her illness to prevent her from creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Gail’s loving nature shined brightest when spreading holiday joy. Her holiday decorations were rivaled only by Rockefeller Center or Santa’s own workshop. Above all else, Gail cherished gathering with family. In her last year, she found comfort in her garden; including bonding with the smallest and most tenacious hummingbird.

Gail Elizabeth Pippo-Heins cared deeply for the people around her and positively impacted so many lives. Those who knew Gail will remember her selflessness and her ability to make everyone feel loved. She will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Until we meet again.
