January 29, 1947 – May 18, 2025
Francisco Javier Garcia, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, to Maria Guadalupe Garcia and Javier Garcia. He was the only male child and the oldest among his six siblings: Sylvia, Lupe, Rosa, Patricia, Alice and Adriana. At the age of 10, he migrated to the United States with his beloved parents and sisters, carrying with him a deep love for his roots, culture, and heritage—a pride he never let go of.
Francisco was a devoted father to five children: Maribel Garcia, Rocio Garcia, Lisette Garcia, Daniel Garcia, and Robert Garcia, and a proud grandfather to Andrea Contreras, Alexis Garcia, Giselle Suarez, and Mia Abeln. His family was his greatest joy and his life’s proudest achievement.
He had a lifelong passion for cars, especially classic cars, and could often be found in his garage with a wrench in hand and a story to tell. His mechanical skills were matched only by his patience and willingness to teach others. Working on cars wasn’t just a hobby—it was a way for Francisco to express his care and craftsmanship.
He also had a deep love for his country, its traditions, and its music. Francisco cherished mariachi music and was a devoted fan of Chivas de Guadalajara, rarely missing a match and always cheering with pride. His love for Mexico and its culture remained strong throughout his life.
Francisco will be remembered for his kind heart, his strength, his sense of humor, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the values he instilled, and the memories he leaves behind.
