Edward Sanchez passed away on March 5th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family in his La Habra home. He was born on April 28,1933 to Francisco and Maria Luisa Sanchez in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Known by his many friends and family Eddie moved to La Habra in 1944 and attended Wilson Jr High school. After high school Eddie married the love of his life, Magdalena Villagomez on August 24, 1952 In La Habra CA.
Eddie enlisted in the U.S Army on March 17, 1953 and was drafted in December of 1952 to serve in the Korean war until February of 1955. He was in the 3rd infantry division and operated heavy weapons as an infantry men.
Eddie lived in San Jose, CA for a few years before his enlistment but after being honorably discharge from his service he and his wife moved and settled down in La Habra, CA. Eddie worked various occupations but was lastly working as a shipping and receiving manager which he did for 25 years.
Eddie enjoyed traveling, spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and tending to his beautiful lawns. Eddie was also a member of La Habra Baptist Church.
Edward is survived by his 3 children, Marylou, Charlie and Frank, 5 grandchildren, Rosanna, Patricia, Frank Jr. , Isabella, and Salena. 6 great grandchildren, Junior, Raymond, Mariah, Dominic, Gianna and one on the way and his sister, Gloria Villagomez
