David Richard Morales

David was born in Morenci, Arizona, to parents Richard and Emily Morales. Shortly after his birth, his family resettled in California. His parents later had two additional children, Steven and Cori.

David was educated and graduated from Whittier College on May 23, 1994, with two four year degrees, one in English and one in Economics.

David had varied employment after graduation. During those years, he yearned for a career in law enforcement.

While employed at the Bewley firm in 2003, he applied and was accepted at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Academy for a career as a Correctional Officer. The Bewley firm is where David met Norma. They married on December 1, 2006. On July 9, 2008, their only child, David Vincent Morales, was born.

David worked for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the State of California until he retired in December of 2024.

Throughout the years, David and his family enjoyed traveling on occasion to Arizona. He enjoyed vacationing with his family in the San Simeon/Hearst Castle area, and recently the Morro Bay area. The clean air and cool beach weather agreed with him.
