Concepcion Castillo

Our loving Conchita (Maria Concepcion Castillo) passed away to join our loved ones in our heaven Father's kingdom on Friday, August 4th of 2023 in Rowland Heights, CA surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Westwood, CA on December 8th 1927 to her parents Estefana Vasquez Castillo & Jose Castillo. She was raised & cared dearly for her only child, daughter Elizabeth Ramos, who is the mother of her grandchildren: Leonel T. Vela, Alessandra A. Vela, and Matthew T. Vela. As much as she enjoyed being a part of her local community center activities in Whittier, pre-pandemic, she was also a devoted soccer fan, especially to her favorite teams Leon & USA. Her hands were truly blessed with an artistic ability to knit, crochet, & sew which still bring warm feelings of her embrace as her art is cherished by her family that she left these to.

Her humor and comfort are greatly missed every day, but her loved ones share the peace of her physical existence that has transcended into internal rest. A memorial will be eld in her honor, Monday, August 21st, 2023 at 5:00PM to celebrate her beautiful life.
