Christopher Steven Eshe

September 2, 1992 — October 9, 2019

Christopher Steven Eshe was born September 2, 1992, in Whittier, California. He grew up in Whittier and attended Trinity Lutheran School and California High School. He continued his education, receiving a Bachelors degree from Cal State University, Long Beach, in Industrial and Organizational (IO) Psychology, and his Masters degree from Cal State University, San Bernardino.

Christopher loved to learn, but he especially loved to teach. Most recently he was working as supplemental instructor at Cal State San Bernardino, and he was hoping to become a full-time instructor. He found joy in sharing his knowledge with others.

A gregarious guy, Christopher was most happy when surrounded by family and friends. He especially loved his family. He was an amazing brother to Joshua and Ethan Eshe, and a much-loved son to his Mom, Debora Taft, step-dad, James Taft, and his Father, Steven Eshe. Christopher also had a special relationship with his cousins, Justin and Chad Wilder. Christopher made friends easily and was always a true friend. He was ever ready to give support and encouragement to others, and just lifted others with his presence.

Christopher also enjoyed Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, shooting pool and hiking with his friends, and he loved Pugs. He often joked about how his moms Pug, Abbey, like him more than her! She was his best friend.

Christopher passed away on October 9, 2019. He is survived by his loving family, mom and step-dad, Debora and James Taft; dad, Steven Eshe; brothers, Joshua and Ethan Eshe; and his grandparents, Jack and Carolyn Whitt.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at First Christian Church, 6355 Greenleaf Ave., Whittier, California.
