Carol Perez

Carol Perez, 79, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. A devoted educator, artist, and community member, Carol shared her creativity and warmth with everyone she met.

She inspired generations of students while teaching art, photography, and crafts at Del Mar, Westmont, and Prospect High Schools, creating classrooms filled with encouragement and discovery.

Beyond teaching, Carol served as a choir lead at her church, uplifting her community with her kindness and gentle joy.

A memorial service will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Los Altos on November 25th at 10:00 a.m.
