Carlos Humberto Letona

April 15, 1938 — January 2, 2019

Carlos Humberto Letona, passed away on January 2nd, 2019, at the age of 80.

He was born in Zacapa, Guatemala on April 15th, 1938. He came to California where graduated from Garfield High School in 1978. He met his beloved wife, Maria Estella, and together they had four sons: Carlos, Edward, Alex, and George. They lived in Huntington Park for 42 years and raised their four sons and grandchildren.

He was a hard-working machinist by trade and a notary public. On his off time, he loved to travel and go fishing, but nothing was more important to him than his family. Always telling them to become better than him.

A Funeral Service in memory of Carlos will be held on Wednesday Jan 9th, 2019 at 12:00pm at the White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia Street, Whittier, CA, 90601. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA, 90601.

On behalf of the Letona family, we would like to thank everyone who attended and supported us during this difficult time. Humberto will be remembered and loved by his family and friends.
