Celia Rojas (Zekita, Lula, Mama), age 62, passed away on July 23, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 23, 1964, in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. Celia moved to the United States as a teenager to build a new life. She later dedicated many years of service to her community as a court clerk, bringing professionalism, diligence, and a strong work ethic to her role. While she was proud of her career, Celia’s greatest and most cherished work was as a mother to her three children and as a grandmother to her two grandchildren. Celia filled her life and home with joy. She had a deep love for gardening where she found peace in tending to her plants. She was a soccer and basketball fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer for her Real Madrid or Miami Heat. She also dedicated herself to coaching her children's soccer teams and sacrificed her time and energy to be the best coach she could be. Above all, she had a vibrant personality that she displayed through her beautiful smile, lovely loud laugh and through her singing and dancing. Her spirit, warmth, and fierce devotion to her family will be deeply missed. She is survived by her beloved children, Andrew, Angel, and Alexia, and her beloved grandchildren, Cooper and Brady, who will carry her memory and legacy forward.
