Robert G. Welsh

Robert Bob G. Welsh, Jr., 83, of La Habra, CA, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on August 15, 2018.

Bob is survived by his wife Joyce (Lester) Welsh and her children Mark Lester (wife Ruth) and Valerie Musielak. He is also survived by his children Bonnie Lieberman (husband Bill) and Greg Welsh (wife Marian Iannuzzi). Grandchildren include Katy Lester, Morgan Lester, Stephanie Welsh, and Timothy Welsh.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 15th at First Presbyterian at 838 N Euclid Street Fullerton, CA 92832. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made to the Yosemite Conservancy or American Cancer Society.

Bob was born on March 5, 1935 in Reisterstown, MD to Robert G. Welsh, Sr. and Betty (Murray) Welsh. He graduated from Franklin High School in 1953 and the University of Cincinnati in 1957. He retired from Westinghouse in 1991 as an aeronautical engineer. Bob had a love and passion for spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, traveling, fishing and nature. He especially loved spending time in the High Sierras.
