Lorenzo Gonzlez Snchez naci el 16 de mayo de 1950, en Guadalajara, Mxico, a Lorenzo y ngela (Snchez) Gonzlez. Falleci en el Domingo, 10 de mayo de 2015, en su residencia en Downey, California, apenas unos das antes de cumplir los 65 aos.



'Lencho', como se le conoca cariosamente, creci y asisti a la escuela en Guadalajara. Despus de terminar la escuela, comenz su carrera como joyero. Trabajaba diez aos en Mxico antes de emigrar a Los ngeles, California, donde pas otros 35 aos en el negocio de la joyera.



Una persona muy activa, Lorenzo le gustaba jugar al ftbol, balonmano y de ir al gimnasio. Tambin le gustaba pescar. Ser recordado por su personalidad carismtica y su pasin por su trabajo. l realmente amaba a sus hijos y trabajaba duro para tener buen cuidado de ellos.



Le sobreviven sus nueve hijos, Jos Antonio, Vernica Adriana, Lorena Mariana, Miguel Alejandro (Alejandra), Hugo, Jos Armando (Crystal), Jessica del Carmen, Ana y ngel de Jess Gonzlez; hermanos, Teresa, Guillermo, Refugio, Julio, Pedro, y Olivia Gonzlez; y diecisiete nietos. Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo mayor, ngel, y su nieto, Luis Prado.



Habr una velacin de 5-7 pm el Mircoles, 13 de mayo de 2015, en el White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. El Rosario ser recitado a las 7pm, y despus, la velacin continuar hasta 9pm. El Rosario ser recitado de nuevo a las 9:30am de la maana siguiente en la iglesia St. Louis of France, 13935 E. Temple Ave., La Puente, California. Misa ser celebrado a las 10am, con entierro en Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888, Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California.

Lorenzo Gonzalez Sanchez was born May 16, 1950, in Guadalajara, Mexico, to Lorenzo and Angela (Sanchez) Gonzalez. He passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at his residence in Downey, California, just days before his 65th birthday.



Lencho, as he was affectionately known, grew up and attended school in Guadalajara. After completing school, he began his career as a jeweler. He worked for about ten years in Mexico before immigrating to Los Angeles, California, where he spent another 35 years in the jewelry business.



A very active person, Lorenzo enjoyed playing soccer, handball and going to the gym. He also liked to fish. He will be remembered for his charismatic personality and his passion for his work. He truly loved his children and worked hard to take good care of them.



He is survived by his nine children, Jos Antonio, Vernica Adriana, Lorena Mariana, Miguel Alejandro (Alejandra), Hugo, Jos Armando (Crystal), Jessica del Carmen, Ana and ngel de Jess Gonzalez; siblings, Teresa, Guillermo, Refugio, Julio, Pedro, and Olivia Gonzalez; and seventeen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his older son, Angel, and his grandson, Luis Prado.



A viewing will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. The Rosary will be led at 7pm, and then viewing will continue until 9pm. The Rosary will be led again at 9:30am the following morning at St. Louis of France Church, 13935 E. Temple Ave., La Puente, California. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10am, and burial will then take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888, Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California.
