Located in beautiful Uptown Whittier, White-Emerson Mortuary reflects the history and tradition of our city. Our commitment to providing comfort begins as you walk through our doors. We have created an atmosphere of soothing textures and colors, where soft lighting and quiet groupings of furniture encourage conversation, remembrance, and recollection.
Chapel and Reception Room
The stained glass in our chapel provides a serene setting ideal for honoring and celebrating the life of a loved one. A reception room is available for receiving friends following the service. A list of local caterers may be provided for your convenience if food is desired for your gathering.
Resource Center
Our Resource Center offers an assortment of products to help create a more meaningful tribute to a loved one. It is dedicated to memorial products, mementos, resource materials, books dealing with loss, and ideas for creating personal memorials. We believe it provides great comfort to those we serve, as it is intended to help people cope with the loss of a loved one and assist in the grieving process.
On-Site Crematory
We are pleased to offer an on-site crematory for those that choose cremation as the means of final disposition. It has been our experience that most families find great comfort in knowing that their loved one will never leave our care or be transported to an outside facility.
